- The Vine Centre
The Vine Centre was conceived as a vehicle for practically demonstrating God’s love for the people of the Crumlin Road through social witness. The Centre was established in 1970, on the initiative of the churches in the Crumlin Road area at the height of the troubles, when many local people needed advice after they had been displaced from their homes as a consequence of ongoing violence. Over the years, the programmes, activities and services offered by the Vine Centre have evolved in response to locally identified needs and today they continue to address a range of often complex social and economic problems within the area.
